Concierge Services

Onsite greeters provide patient assistance in the center's main lobby as well as parking assistance at the main entrance.

Café

A small café in the lobby serves prepared foods and beverages. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Internet Access

Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the center. For instructions about logging on, please see the receptionist in the main lobby.

Healing Garden

Research has shown that healing gardens can reduce blood pressure and help patients recover more quickly. The center's healing garden is available for patients and their families and features a paved pathway, benches, perennial plants and flowers, willow trees and a fountain.

Wellness Services

Through the HOPES Program, the Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center offers:

  • Free brief massage, ear acupuncture and Reiki sessions to patients during their cancer treatment appointments. These services are available at certain hours during the week. To sign up, talk to your nurse.
  • An Acupuncture Clinic for patients on Mondays from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Each one-hour session of full-body acupuncture costs $52. An Acupuncture and Massage Clinic is also available in downtown Boston.

The HOPES Program also offers free workshops to help you feel better. Call the HOPES Program at (617) 724-6737 to ask any questions or to set up a clinic appointment.

The NSMC Wellness and Integrative Medicine Department also offers free or discounted wellness services for cancer patients.

Parking

With 700 available spaces, the center offers ample free parking, including handicap parking spaces. Look for onsite greeters, who provide parking assistance at the center's main entrance.
