Colorectal cancer, often referred to as colon cancer, is the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States, but it doesn¹t have to be. This disease is largely preventable and highly curable with regular screening and early detection. Learn more about colorectal cancer.
The Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care offers an array of specialists who are experts in screening and treating colorectal cancer. Colonoscopies and other screening procedures are provided here in Danvers. Expert inpatient care, including screenings, are also provided at North Shore Medical Center facilities in Salem and Lynn and at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
